Hey there, welcome to my portfolio! I’m a journalist and content specialist with a career that covers borders and industries. From reporting on the latest news stories to creating inspiring content for the travel industry, my professional journey has been defined by curiosity, versatility, and a commitment to authentic storytelling at its core.
I began my career in the United Arab Emirates with Sport360, one of the UAE’s leading sports publications. As a reporter, I covered a variety of local stories and international events. From football and cricket to niche sports that don’t always receive the spotlight they deserve, I had the chance to write about topics that broadened my horizon (and also got me snaps with the likes of Diego Maradona, Michael Phelps & Shahid Afridi). Working in a fast-paced newsroom taught me how to find a balance between accuracy and immediacy. Moreover, it allowed me to interact with athletes, fans, and industry professionals who reminded me of sport’s unique power to unite people across cultures.
Beyond journalism, I ventured into the world of content strategy as a Content Specialist for Almosafer. Here, I honed a different but complementary skill set, developing digital campaigns, crafting engaging narratives for diverse audiences, and helping to build a brand voice that inspired curiosity and wanderlust. This role allowed me to think more strategically about how stories can be tailored for platforms, audiences, and markets.
Side by side, I also worked as a Weekend News Reporter for ARN (Arabian Radio Network), one of the UAE’s most trusted news sources. Writing for radio gave me a new appreciation for the spoken word, where tone, pace, and timing carry as much weight as the facts themselves.
Now based in France, I bring these experiences together to shape the next chapter of my career. I’m currently trying to master the French language, and while I have already attained B1, I am still a long way from speaking with the confidence and nonchalance of a French person to truly integrate into the Parisian circles.
This portfolio is a reflection of my journey—one that bridges journalism and content marketing.
